Grading
Third grade is the last year that students in Bellevue Public Schools are graded using the letters E (Excellent), S (Satisfactory), and N (Needs Improvement). Once they enter fourth grade, they will use the following scale.
A = 90 to 100%
B = 80 to 89%
C = 70 to 79%.
D = 60 to 69%
F = 59% and below
An "E" is typically the equivalent of an A on the traditional scale. An "S+ or S" would be the equivalent of a B. An "S or S-" would be the equivalent of a C, and an "N" would be the equivalent of a D or F.
In addition to their grade, essential objectives that have been completed will be reported as being advanced, proficient, progressing, or beginning. Please note: you can always access your child's grades in Power School to see how they are doing in class! : )
